Kim Yo Jong, the younger sister of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) top leader Kim Jong Un, sat next to Republic of Korea (ROK) President Moon Jae-in at a concert by the Samjiyon Orchestra from Pyongyang on Sunday in Seoul. The DPRK's nominal head of state Kim Yong Nam also attended the concert.
Earlier on Sunday, Kim Yo Jong and Kim Yong Nam had lunch with ROK Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon, an opportunity to discuss the ROK's leader's invitation for Moon to visit the DPRK.
That invitation came on Saturday, when Moon held talks with the DPRK delegation. During talks and lunch at the presidential Blue House in Seoul, Kim Yo Jong verbally delivered the personal invitation from her brother – Kim Jong Un wants to meet Moon "in the near future" and would like for Moon to visit Pyongyang "at his earliest convenience."
It would be the first meeting of Korean leaders in more than 10 years.
Moon said in response that he hopes that the right conditions will be created so that the proposed visit can take place.
Lee echoed Moon's remarks during Sunday's lunch. "The South and the North should make active efforts to create the right conditions. I hope the international community will also provide support," he said.

Lee added that inter-Korean talks should continue after the Olympics.

Four meetings between Kim Yo Jong and ROK officials

Sunday evening’s performance was the fourth time Moon and Kim Yo Jong have met since they greeted each other during the opening ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics on Friday.
On Saturday, the DPRK's delegation paid a visit to Moon at the Blue House. Later in the day, Moon and the DPRK's delegation also jointly attended the opening match of the unified women's ice hockey team comprising athletes from the North and the South.
The DPRK's delegation arrived in the ROK on Friday and is to head back home late on Sunday.
