29-year-old Ya Dang from southwest China’s Yunnan Province on Sunday braved the challenge of base-jumping from the world’s highest bridge, Beipanjiang Bridge in southwest China’s Guizhou Province.
The move has established the adrenaline junkie as the first person brave enough to take a leap of faith from this newly opened marvel of engineering.
Ya Dang said he would like to invite more international extreme sports enthusiasts to take on thrilling challenges from the same spot in the future, so that they too can experience the grandeur of the magnificent bridge, which soars 565 meters above the Beipanjiang Valley and is equal to a 200-story building in height.
