Despite the escalating tensions between Russia and the West, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has insisted that Russia remains open for developing good ties with other countries.

Russia hasn't started any diplomatic wars and President Putin was from the start and remains a supporter of the development of good relations with all countries including the United States."
