Pakistan's deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif said during a rally on Saturday that he could have eliminated the country's unemployment in three years.
“I tell you by the grace of Allah, if the progress still continued and had momentum, unemployment in Pakistan would have been eliminated in the next two or three years,” said Sharif.
On July 28, Pakistan's Supreme Court ordered Sharif's removal from office after a corruption probe.
Sharif is currently holding on-the-road rallies across the province of Punjab. His final rally is expected to be held around this weekend in the provincial capital Lahore, hometown of his family.
