APEC leaders and their spouses attend gala dinner

Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang and his spouse Nguyen Thi Hien hosted a gala dinner at the Main Hall of the Sheraton Hotel in Da Nang on Friday evening, welcoming leaders and representatives of the member economies attending the 25th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Informal Leaders’ Meeting and their spouses.
Ahead of the gala dinner, President Tran Dai Quang had a group photo with the distinguished guests. Chinese President Xi Jinping was present.
Earlier on Friday, Xi delivered a keynote speech at the APEC CEO Summit, saying that globalization is an irreversible trend and China will not slow its steps in opening up itself.
APEC 2017, under the theme of "Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future," ends on November 11.
