CBA legend Stephon Marbury, who said this would be his final season of professional basketball, announced that he would end his career on Feb. 11 after the game against Jiangsu, the final game of the regular season.
His Beikong team is currently on the outside looking in regarding the playoff picture, and with only four games left they have a slim chance of making the post season.
"I'm tired, man. I'm tired. I played 22 years," Marbury said, "It's all good. I'm straight with how it is right now. I like being able to have control over going out the way I want to go out. I'm 100 percent at peace with it. 100 percent."

The man known as Starbury spent 13 seasons in the NBA, averaging 19.3 points, 7.6 assists and 3.0 rebounds with five teams. He then came to the CBA, and played with Shanxi, and Foshan, but his stature in the country began to grow as a member of the Beijing Ducks. Marbury led the Chinese capital's club to three CBA crowns, and has become ingrained in the city.
The 40-year-old had acquired a green card, had a museum on his basketball career open, and starred in a play written about his life.
Marbury told ESPN's The Undefeated that he is at peace with his 22-year professional basketball career ending in China later this month, just days before he turns 41 years old.
