Premier Li: Internet Plus keeps steady development of Chinese economy

Internet Plus has been playing an important role for keeping Chinese economy steady, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said during the press conference at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, following the closing meeting of the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress.
Technology produces new forces which have been helping China in transforming government functions, boosting market vitality, promoting consumption and optimizing economic structure.
"Internet Plus helps China to avoid 'hard landing' in economy,” said Premier Li.
As the biggest platform for sharing economy, Internet Plus also plays a role of accelerator.
"By providing more opportunities for entrepreneurs to make innovation, Internet Plus could benefit our lives from many perspectives."
As an innovation, Internet Plus will also bring challenges. The Chinese premier said that with more cautious supervision measures, the country should draw on advantages and avoid disadvantages.

China will adopt more measures to employ the Internet Plus model, Li highlighted.
Companies of Internet Plus got listed overseas in the past, while China will now improve relevant conditions for domestic listing, encouraging such companies to return to the A-share market. Also, favorable conditions will be created in accordance with the law for Chinese high-tech and innovation-oriented companies to get listed in the stock market.
Besides, China will further develop the Internet Plus model to integrate with industries like education and medicare, to boost a fast and healthy development for its digital economy.
The premier also encouraged companies to think out of the box for further developments.
