One afternoon in 2009, a villager named Duan Shanshan in southwest China's Yunnan Province brought home a little black dog, thinking it might have been abandoned or separated from its mother. However, as the dog grew up, Duan and her family found the pet was actually a bear. Although the bear has already become part of the family, they decided to hand it over to the local forest police and eventually let it back to the wild.
