Earlier, Antonio Laspina, Director of Marketing at the Italian Trade Agency, was interviewed by CCTV. He said the US actions are typical of unilateralism and trade protectionism, and that state interference in free trade can only lead to problems. He added that the trade frictions between the two countries affect the world economy.
ANTONIO LASPINA DIRECTOR OF MARKETING, ITALIAN TRADE AGENCY "We can't ignore the fact that US multinational companies are in need of China's production technologies and the Chinese market. I believe both sides will work out a solution to the dispute after this round of countermeasures and through mediation efforts by the international community."
