At least 26 people were killed when a truck carrying a wedding party fell into a ditch in India's western state of Gujarat on Tuesday, local media reported.

The accident occurred in the state's Bhavnagar area near Ranghola on Rajkot-Bhavnagar state highway.

The injured have been rushed to a local hospital.
