Exactly 740 teddy bears were placed by students on the steps of the Concert Hall in Berlin, Germany for the "Teddy Bear action: Beyond Survival" campaign organized by the humanitarian aid group World Vision to draw attention to the plight of the 740,000 Syrian children who have been displaced over the course of the civil war, which has so far lasted for seven years.
