China successfully launched Yaogan-30 remote sensing satellites from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Tuesday.
The satellites, carried by a Long March-2C rocket, were sent into space at 03:44 a.m. BJT (19:44 GMT on Monday) from the launch center.
As the third batch of the Yaogan-30 project, the satellites will conduct electromagnetic environmental probes and other experiments.
The launch was the 260th mission for the Long March rocket family, marking the conclusion of China’s space mission in 2017.
