In a keynote speech to mark the opening of the 2018 Boao Forum for Asia, Chinese President Xi Jinping outlined four propositions for further opening up China’s economy to the rest of the world.
The four-point plan outlined by Xi focuses on improving market access for foreign enterprises, making China a better environment for investment, protecting intellectual property rights and expanding imports.
With China marking the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up, Xi spoke about the Chinese people’s “unwavering commitment” to the policy, and used his speech to give more insight into how the country will continue contributing to globalization and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
