Gabon's Foreign Minister Noel Nelson Messone, who met visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Libreville on Monday, said his country is ready to join China's Belt and Road Initiative, help build a more open world economy and promote African development. He added Gabon is willing to continue mutually beneficial cooperation with China on trade, infrastructure, agriculture, education, health and defense. Wang said China and Gabon should continue to understand and support each other on core interests.
