We turn to the latest on Brexit. The UK parliament has failed again to vote for any form of Brexit. Lawmakers had four options before them and they rejected them all. Our correspondent Richard Bestic reports from London.
From around Britain, Brexit campaigners continue to turn up outside the Parliament buildings to have their say. Piping in a possible new reality for Brexit, so long entangled in negative territory.
The late night hope that MPs could finally find a way ahead.
JOHN BERCOW UK COMMONS SPEAKER "Colleagues have 30 minutes to cast their votes. The sitting is suspended. Order."
The government was opposed to allowing MPs the vote, as warnings made clear, many in Parliament and in government regard a closer relationship with the EU as a betrayal of Brexit.
STEPHEN BARCLAY UK BREXIT MINISTER "This is now the second time the house has considered a wide variety of options for a way forward. It has once again failed to find a clear majority for any of the options. And yet the result of the house's decision on Friday not to endorse the Withdrawal Agreement means that the default legal position is that the UK will leave the EU in just 11 days' time."
UK Prime Minister Theresa May will again chair a meeting of her Cabinet Tuesday and once again, attempt to find a way ahead for the deadlocked Brexit. RB, CGTN, London.
