Seoul will send an art troupe to visit the DPRK from March 31st to April 3rd, according to South Korea's unification ministry.
The art troupe is composed of 160 members. Two concerts will be held in the DPRK's capital Pyongyang, the first such performances in more than a decade. The visit comes after the DPRK sent its performers to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The decision on the art troupe visit comes right after the US and South Korea announced they would resume a joint military drill. The drill was delayed during the Winter Olympics period. The US Department of Defense said the drill will resume on April 1st "at a scale similar to that of the previous years" and Pyongyang has been notified of the schedule.
