Sayed Abdel Aal, the President of the National Progressive Unionist Party (Tagammu) of Egypt, applauded the Communist Party of China in poverty alleviation.
In an interview with CGTN, Sayed Abdel Aal said CPC's priority is always the Chinese citizens. The Party represents and tries to elevate the interests of the people and transform China to a "superpower" from a "third-world" country.
National Progressive Unionist Party is a prominent political party founded in 1976 and represents the socialist and communist ideologies in Egypt. It is an active Party established by Khaled Mohieddin, a renowned politician and member of the free officers who led the 1952 revolution that brought the socialists to power in the 1950s till early 1970s.
China has lift over 700 million people out of poverty, and it has set the goal of lifting 10 million people out of poverty every year from 2016 and is committed to eradicating poverty entirely among the rural population by 2020.
He also called on more cooperation between the National Progressive Unionist Party and the CPC.
"I hope we can succeed in establishing bilateral scientific research projects, and embrace the Chinese students who want to learn Arabic, and we hope the Chinese government can host our party members who want to learn Chinese science."
