The English Premier League's leader Manchester City beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 at Wembley on Saturday. Citizens moved within three points of claiming the title.
In the 22nd minute, Vincent Kompany delivered a long ball that sprang Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian took one touch before calmly beating Hugo Lloris with a low shot and City led 1-nil.
Just two minutes later, Raheem Sterling earned a penalty for the visitors. Ilkay Gundogan made no mistake from 12 yards to double the lead for the Citizens.

As half-time approached, Tottenham pulled one back when Harry Kane set up Christian Eriksen who just managed to beat Ederson to the ball.
But Spurs' hopes of a comeback were dashed in the 72nd minute when Sterling lashed home from close range. City took the victory 3-1 and Guardiola's guys moved within three points of claiming the title.
"The (high) level we have had all of the season. If you had now 87 points with five games left, it's because we did it outstanding and the people say it was a big failure what happened last week, they don't understand absolutely anything about football. The Champions League is seven games (from knockout stages onwards), you can win the Champions League," said Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager.

"But the (Premier) League is every three days over 10 months. I'm sorry, but it is much more important what these guys have done over the season. You have the second match to win the title. The first (the game against Manchester United), we missed it. Hopefully, we can celebrate it with our fans against Swansea and be champions, because they deserve it," he added.
Meanwhile, Antonio Conte's Chelsea were looking to keep alive in the race for the top four, but fell behind 2-0 with Dusan Tadic and Jan Bednarek scoring for the Saints on either side of the break.
