Dublin-Madrid flight diverts to Bordeaux due to ‘medical emergency’

An Aer Lingus flight en route to Madrid from Dublin declared an emergency while flying above France, and has been diverted to Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport in France, reported RT on Friday. 
According to a twitter reply from Aer Lingus' official Twitter account later, the accident was caused by a medical emergency.

The plane departed at 7:16 a.m. CET and was scheduled to land in Madrid at 10:45 a.m. CET.
