UK-China Ties: Chinese FM: UK has no right to interfere in Hong Kong affairs

China is condemning a British report - published twice a year - that discusses Hong Kong.
LU KANG, SPOKESPERSON CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTRY "It seems that the UK government needs us to remind once every 6 months. Hong Kong affairs are China's domestic affairs. The UK side has neither the right nor the space to interfere. The UK government attempted to show their influence by publishing the so-called six-monthly report on Hong Kong, making irresponsible remarks and improper comments on Hong Kong affairs. I can only say that this is doomed to fail and will only cause the disapproval of the Chinese people."
