Magnitude-6.2 quake strikes Japan’s Hachijojima

A magnitude-6.2 earthquake struck Hachijojima in Japan on Thursday, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has reported.

The tremor, which struck at a depth of 20 kilometers, happened at around 6:43 p.m.

The JMA has not issued a tsunami warning.
