Pakistan is set to recognize transgender members of its population for the first time. Following a recent ruling by the High Court in Lahore, the country will now include transgender people in its sixth national census, which is set to begin in March this year. To ensure the transgender community in Pakistan feels inclusive, and to make them a part of the mainstream circle, one college in the city of Rawalpindi has hired several transgender people.
