Angel Chen
Angel Chen is a young veteran of China’s fashion scene and is one of its most intriguing figures. This 25-year-old Shenzhen-born, London-trained and internationally based designer has been producing capsule collections under her own label since 2014, mixing bold color palettes with a childish and free-spirited attitude.
This is also the case for her Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
Chen presented "Tiger and Rose", reflecting a vision of boldness and tenacity via saturated colors of red, yellow, pink and black. Lines and shapes were kept simple and neat, adorned with boxy handbags, hoods, and sporty boots.

Yingpei Studio
Pei Ying, with her label Yingpei Studio, creates garments highlighting the extroverted but introspective nature of contemporary youth. Romantic and feminine tailoring and fabrics are the mainstay of the London College of Fashion grad with her unique and captivating silhouettes.
Inspired by the ancient classic Chinese poem "Song of Everlasting Sorrow", Pei is dedicated this season to portraying the courage and perseverance of women facing ups and downs in life.
Ruffles and lace elements abound in the designs, with floral patterns decorating the dark-colored fabric.

Sirloin
Shanghai-based Sirloin is the creative baby of the Japanese-Swedish duo – Mao Usami and Alve Lagercratz. The designers, who believe in a philosophy rooted in humorous criticism of everyday life, aim to redesign the wardrobe "inside out". One concept is the design of underwear to match daily outfits.
The label’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection showcased extremely asymmetrical tailoring and deliberately redundant accessories, such as three belts and two sleeves, all echo the duo’s aesthetic of "stupid elegance".

Minki
Independent, edgy, beautiful and refined are the words that best describe Minki Cheng’s women's line. As another Central Saint Martin’s alumna at Shanghai Fashion Week, Cheng delivered a savvy mixture of unusual textures and bold color palettes.
This season, the new collection features blue and white, representing the convergence of the real and virtual worlds. The ruffled details of varying sizes and the floral adorned roomy dresses deliver garments of easy wearing and easy movement without compromising on elegant tailoring.
