Get ready, because the world's greatest circus is coming to Beijing and Shanghai! Cirque du Soleil has confirmed an upcoming China tour for its show "Toruk - The First Flight".

The circus made the announcement at a press conference held Tuesday in the Chinese capital city. Inspired by James Cameron's record-breaking blockbuster Avatar, this story is set in Pandora 3-thousand years before the events depicted in the film. The show transports viewers into the stunning world of Pandora, and immerses them in a storytelling odyssey through imagination, discovery, and possibility. The production will make use of puppetry, stagecraft, cutting-edge visuals, and a riveting cinematic score. "Toruk" has been touring North America since its world premiere in Montreal in 2015. It will dazzle Chinese audiences at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing from August 1st to 5th, and the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai from August 16th to 19th.
