China-US Trade Friction: China hits back with tariffs on 128 US imports

China has imposed tariffs on 128 US imports, as trade tensions between Beijing and Washington escalate.
The finance ministry says the move is in response to US tariffs on steel and aluminum. It adds the new tariffs are meant to balance the losses caused by US action, and to safeguard China's interest using rules from the World Trade Organization.
