China has made huge progress in its targeted poverty alleviation campaign, which belong to ‘three tough battles’ for Chinese society. The government will not only assist the poor people through economic support but also guide them to become prosperous on their own. Liu Yongfu, director of State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, made the remarks on 'Ministers' Corridor on the sidelines of the annual session of China's 13th National People's Congress (NPC).
