China says it will introduce new reforms and improve its business environment for foreign enterprises. The Commerce Ministry says it will release details later today after discussions with business leaders from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan and South Korea. Company chiefs from six leading companies joined the discussion, including the US-based Emerson Electric and the consulting firm the Cohen Group. The Commerce Ministry says the meeting aims to help global businesses counter the effect of China-US trade tensions. The German-based tech giant SAP, UK-based HSBC, Japan's Toyota and South Korea's Samsung are also involved in the dialogue.
