Catalonians voted to give pro-independence parties an outright majority in the region’s 135-seat parliament on Thursday. The day after, ousted Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont offered to meet Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy outside Spain for talks on the region's independence crisis. During a news conference later, Rajoy said that he will talk to new Catalan leaders as long as they don't violate Spain's Constitution.
