One dead after truck carrying chemical products catches fire in NW China

A truck carrying phosphorus pentasulfide caught fire early Saturday on a highway in northwestern China’s Gansu Province, leaving at least one person dead and another injured.

The incident was first reported at about 3:55 a.m. BJT. The fire was put out at 8:00 a.m., but emergency crews remain at the scene to deal with the situation.
