For many young people around the world, dancing means clubbing.
But not for the hundreds of dancers taking part in the International Buyukcekmece Culture and Art festival in Istanbul.

This year's 18th edition of the festival - under the motto “Love for each other, Peace for All” - brought together dancers from Poland and Brazil to Tanzania, Slovakia or India.
For them, folk dancing is a vital part of their history and traditions, but also a way to learn about other cultures.
And by doing so, maybe these dancers can help bring a bit more peace and understanding to the world.
