Yuzuru Hanyu defends Olympic gold in men’s figure skating

Yuzuru Hanyu from Japan becomes the first repeat winner since 1952 as he successfully defended his gold medal in men’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang, tallying 317.85 total points. 
Silver belongs to his compatriot Shoma Uno, while two-time world champion Javier Fernandez grabs bronze, ahead of China's Jin Boyang.
The 20-year-old Jin was starting well, completing a pair of quadruple salchows. And The Four Continents champ continues to perform well, with a one-legged spin.

But Jin slips up later, as he failed to land in a jump.The Chinese is error-free the rest of the way, and scored 194.45 points, but is docked a full point for the missed jump.
Jin scored 297.77 points overall to rank fourth, which is the best-ever result for a Chinese male at the Games.
