A three-month-old panda cub, born in a zoo in Tokyo, has been named Shan Shan in Japanese, or Xiang Xiang in Chinese, which means fragrance. The name was picked from more than 320,000 suggestions and was approved by Chinese authorities. Xiang Xiang was born on June 12 to the zoo's resident giant panda Shin Shin. The female cub weighs 6 kilograms and measures 65 centimeters long, nearly twice as big as it was a month ago.
