A loess collapse on an earthy hill partially buried an eight-story residential building on June 4 in north China's Shanxi Province. Five people in the building were trapped, including two seniors. Firefighters built a temporary passage comprising two ladders and fire engines to enter the building. Those who were caught were eventually rescued.
