Football fans’ thoughts on commercializing China’s sports industry

There was a time when China’s sports fans could watch their favorite teams for free. This may have been good for the spectators, but not so much for those responsible for raising the level of professionalism in Chinese sport. Now the country’s sports promoters are working to commercialize the industry. Is this a good or bad thing?
