New York artist creates life-like motorcycle by 3D printing

1 / 5   Jonathan Brand, a New York artist, has completed a life-size model of his dream bike, a 1972 Honda CB500 motorcycle, by using an open source 3D printer of Ultimaker. /VCG Photo

2 / 5   Brand started by designing each of the motorcycle’s components required for the full-scale build using 3D modelling software. He used more than 18kg of PLA plastic when printing the model, with certain individual pieces taking as long as 24 hours to complete. /VCG Photo
