Hikers trekking around Hammerfest, the northernmost town of Norway, now have a good place to rest and recharge. The Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) has recently built a cabin that looks exactly like a 3D puzzle from the outside.
The stunning landscape of Hammerfest appeals to many visitors each year, but the arctic terrain makes it difficult for them to trek through. The newly-built cabin is specifically designed to cater for the worn-out hikers.

Designed by Spinn Arkitekter, a Norwegian architectural firm, the cabin is made up of 77 wood timber shapes that stick together. Though small in size, it comes with a wood burning stove and some wooden seats.
In addition, there is a large window installed from which visitors can witness sunrises, sunsets, and even the Northern Lights, if the moment is right.
It took four days to complete the main structure. It is the first of two cabins planned for this area.
