In test cricket, England's James Anderson is now the most successful pace bowler in the history of the game.
The 36-year-old picked up his 564th wicket in his team's 118 run win over India on Tuesday, surpassing Australian legend Glen McGrath and moving up to fourth on the all-time list.
Anderson picked up the final wicket of the match when he clean bowled Mohamed Shami to wrap up a 4-1 series win at the Oval in the evening session on Tuesday. He played his first test in 2003 against Zimbabwe and has gone on to feature 143 times in the long format of the game.
Jimmy might be the best pacer, but he still has some way to go in catching the top three on the all-time list with India's Anil Kumble at 619, while legendary Australian leg breaker Shane Warne has 708.
Top of the pile is Sri Lankan Muttiah Muralitharan who retired with a staggering 800, but England captain Joe Root thinks his King of Swing has a few more years left in him.
