Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Friday urged all parties to stay patient on issues regarding the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and to seize the opportunity to promote dialogue between the U.S. and the DPRK.
Li made the remarks at a press conference Friday after the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, concluded its annual session.
The DPRK issue is very complex and cannot be solved over one night, Li said, adding that China is committed to the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, and that stance has never changed.
Li said relevant parties should work together to ensure the peace and stability of the peninsula, as this is not only conducive to the region, but also to the world.
