The DPRK on Sunday staged a huge military parade to mark its 70th anniversary as a nation. Top leader Kim Jong Un watched the two-hour-long parade. This year, regular army soldiers goose-stepped in formation, followed by a short selection of tanks and military hardware. Instead of a focus on the country's advanced military hardware, nearly half of the celebration was devoted to civilian efforts to build the domestic economy.
