A suspected gas explosion was reported at a residential apartment in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province, on Thursday. The blast occurred at around 11:50 a.m, killing at least three people. A CGTN reporter witnessed a number of injured individuals being sent to hospitals. The blast destroyed much of the apartment block, with firefighters, ambulances and police all on site. An investigation into the blast is underway.
