Nearly 3,000 people who died when hijacked jetliners crashed into the World Trade Center were remembered in New York City on Tuesday, the 17th anniversary of the September 11 attacks in 2001. Mourners gathered at the National September 11 Memorial plaza in Manhattan, for the annual reading of victims' names.
