Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit France and Italy from Wednesday to Saturday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced at a regular press briefing on Monday.

Wang will attend the 18th consultation of the coordinators for the China-France Strategic Dialogue in France and the ninth joint meeting of the China-Italy Government Committee in Italy, Hua said.

The 17th consultation of the coordinators for the China-France Strategic Dialogue and the eighth joint meeting of the China-Italy Government Committee were both held in Beijing in December 2017.
