At least one killed, 37 injured in Madagascar stadium stampede

At least one person was killed, 37 injured in a football stadium stampede in Madagascar’s capital Antananarivo on Sunday, AFP reported citing a hospital official.

The stampede occurred at the entrance to the venue just before kickoff between Madagascar and Senegal, Oliva Alain Rakoto, spokesman for the city's Hrja Hospital, told the media.
