Monaco to search opportunities among China-EU trade exchanges

Chinese President Xi Jinping's upcoming visit to Monaco has great significance, demonstrating the friendship between leaders and peoples of the two countries, Serge Telle, minister of the state of the Principality of Monaco, said in a recent interview with CGTN.
"President Xi accepted the invitation of Prince Albert II to pay a visit to Monaco last year and Chinese culture is glorious," he said.
Prince Albert II, head of state of Monaco, paid a state visit to China in September 2018 at the invitation of Xi.
Serge Telle, Monaco's head of government, loves Chinese culture and philosophy.
"Communication is necessary between different cultures and civilizations," the minister noted.

Cooperation between the two sides has been deepening and enriching since the establishment of diplomatic relations 24 years ago, he said, stressing that Monaco will search new opportunities in the trade exchanges between China and the EU.
"We pay lots of attention to talks between China and the EU on investments issues," the minister added.
Noting that current international and regional situations are still full of uncertainties, he called on every country to play its own role and maintain stability and peace of the world.
