Russia launches nuclear-powered icebreaker

A nuclear-powered icebreaker called the Ural was launched in St. Petersburg on May 25, 2019. The Ural is the third and final vessel of the Project 22220 series and is part of Russia's efforts to strengthen its presence in the Arctic. It will make the first trip in 2022.
