About 30 migrant workers were spotted sleeping rough by the roadside on June 27 in Nanjing City of eastern China's Jiangsu province. The poor living conditions of migrant workers have been a recent focus of the Chinese government. Urban public services and a permanent residence status in cities for migrant workers have been under review by the State Council in an attempt to ease their financial burden.
