Disney announced on Thursday through Oriental Land Co (OLC), which is licensed to operate the Tokyo Disneyland resort, plans to expand its most expensive park, Tokyo DisneySea in 2022.
The expansion would create an eighth themed port with the theme of magical springs that lead to Disney Fantasy World, which will include three new film-inspired experiences and a new deluxe resort hotel with a special “luxury wing.”

The operator of Tokyo Disneyland is now investing 250 billion yen (2.3 billion US dollars) in the new expansion, which might be the biggest expansion in two decades. New areas based on the three famous films - “Frozen,” “Tangled” and “Peter Pan” would probably attract more children to come and experience.
In addition, a new luxury resort hotel might probably cost 100,000 yen (6,000 yuan) for one night. All these might lead to an increase in the ticket prices.
Disney is continuing to expand its theme parks in Asia. About two months earlier, it opened the first expansion, Toy Story Land in Shanghai Disneyland, which has the only Toy Story-themed hotel in the world.
