Olympic champion Caster Semenya has lost her challenge against the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), which means that she, and other runners with Differences of Sexual Development (DSD), or female athletes with naturally high testosterone levels must take medication to reduce the levels of the male hormone to under five nmol/L if they want to take part in international races between 400m and a mile.
