At the Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in the Chinese city of Zhaoqing, China wrapped up the latest stop of the tournament by winning three gold medals on the final day.

As the event was not included in the points tally for Olympic qualification, many top athletes were not in attendance. Nonetheless, two-time world champion Zou Jingyuan was there and performed solidly in the men's parallel bars to win gold with a haul of 16.150 points, 2.150 ahead of South Korea's Lee Seung min who came second.

Meanwhile, besides the men's vault which featured not a single Chinese gymnast, the men's horizontal bar was the only event China failed to win. China's Lin Chaopan had a bad landing and as a result, he had conceded the gold medal to Japan's Takuya Sakakibara.

For women's balance beam, the Chinese gymnasts had a one-two finish. Li Shijia won gold with 15.050 points while Yin Sisi got the silver with 13.850 overall.

In the women's floor exercise, China's Liu Jingxing from Guangdong bagged the gold with a tally of 12.950 points.
