President Xi sends message of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin over gas blast

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday sent a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressing his condolences over the gas blast in Magnitogorsk, Russia.
In his message, Xi said he was shocked to learn that the gas blast has caused heavy casualties and property losses. 
On behalf of the Chinese government and people as well as himself, Xi offered his condolences to the victims and sympathy to their relatives and the injured. 
As of Wednesday evening, several people were confirmed dead and about 30 people still remain unaccounted for, after a gas explosion rocked a residential building on Monday in Magnitogorsk in Russia's Urals.
